Nathan Hill developed the original Tibetan Verb Dictionary. Charlyn Edwards enhanced the content, and I created the current XML format in 2000.

"Wylie format" is a system for transliterating Tibetan script using only the letters available on a typical English-language typewriter. The system is named for the American scholar Turrell V. Wylie,

The Tibetan Verb Dictionary is available in two formats:

In the Tibetan Language Format, dictionary terms are listed using a Tibetan Language Unicode font. You must install the proper font on your computer to view the Tibetan characters. Visit the Tibetan & Himalayan Library website to download the Tibetan Machine Unicode font. Directions on font installation are on that site.

In the Wylie Format, dictionary terms are listed using the Wylie Transliteration Scheme.
